The Aviator Hat Pattern is suitable for advanced beginners and intermediate knitters.
It is worked by knitting three panels, two sides and one centre, sewing them together, felting the piece in the washing machine, and lastly shaping and drying it.

~ Sizes
SIZE 1 - 54 - 56 head circumference
SIZE 2 - 57 - 59 head circumference
SIZE 3 - 60 - 62 head circumference

~ Required techniques:
Long tail cast on, bind off knit-wise, bind off purl-wise, knit, purl, increasing, decreasing, mattress stitch stitch.

~ Yarn Tested
Drops Snow (50g = 50m)

~ Gauge
11 stitches x 15 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 inches in stockinette stitch on 8mm [US 11] needles before felting
