commissions
The majority of my pieces (except for the felt hardware) are one-off, meaning I won’t be making the exact same piece twice.
However, I’m happy to use past designs as a reference for new ones—changing colors, types of yarn or fabric, altering shapes, adding new details, and so on.
For completely new creations, I only take commissions that are within my skill level and fit my aesthetic.
When contacting me for a custom piece, please prepare a brief overview of what you’d like, considering colors, shapes, textures, and visual references of any kind. These can be highly descriptive or just mood references. I will get back to you as soon as possible with a quote and a production timeframe.
TIMINGS
Production begins once all details are agreed upon and full payment is received (usually via PayPal, but other options may be available if needed).
If I have the necessary materials on hand and no backlog, production typically takes around one week, plus shipping time. However, if I need to order materials or have other custom orders in progress, production may take up to 2-3 weeks.
If you have a deadline or need your piece by a specific date, please let me know in advance so I can determine whether it's feasible.
Once I reach the maximum number of commissions I can take on, I will temporarily close custom orders and reopen them when I am ready.
PRICING
Pricing depends on several factors. If you’re requesting a remake of a past piece, the price may not be the same as before. Many of my earlier headpieces had a lower price point as I didn’t always account for material costs and hours worked.
Custom orders will have different (usually higher) pricing, as I now factor in the time and material expenses.
Once I have a clear idea of your request, I will provide a cost breakdown.
